Philosophy
It is our belief that access to nature and solitude can be key factors in maintaining and promoting good physical, mental and spiritual health. Quality time spent with family, friends, colleagues, and self provide major rejuvenation of the body and soul. It is our goal to provide beautiful, serene, and loving environments which support and promote the opportunity to engage with nature, and other people, in a way that catalyzes growth and opportunity in all facets of one's life.
It is our belief that if a person is better in-tune with their own self and calling, then they are better equipped to make positive change in the world. By providing sanctuaries for self-improvement of individuals, families, and groups, we believe that we are working, ultimately, towards world improvement.
Property--which is ultimately owned by nobody--and access to it, is the right of every living thing. Heart's Desire helps make the Earth more accessible, with a focus on serving lower-income individuals.
Mission
Hearts Desire Centers mission is to provide access to emergency shelter, retreat spaces, and low-cost vacation rentals in order to provide personal growth to its lower-income and non-profit members and residents.
Vision
Heart’s Desire Centers envisions a world in which individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford access to what is considered exclusive environments do get to enjoy the gifts that come with engaging in a serene and natural environment.
