From our center and housing nestled in the golden hills of California to our center in Kauai, our goal is to offer residents and visitors the opportunity for awakening of soul, mind, and body. Traditionally, environments such as these would attract only a higher-income clientele; Heart’s Desire’s goal is to make these venues accessible to lower income individuals, homeless individuals, and non-profit organizations.  

These are vital to our well-being.  Care of self is paramount in the effort to then be able to care for others.  In a world with an increasing need for social services and non-profit solutions, the workers and caregivers that provide these much needed supports and services also need places to develop and unwind.  

Heart's Desire will provide a variety of venues for group meetings, spiritual and business retreats, and non-profit gatherings.  Whereas many non-profit organizations can not afford luxury settings, Heart’s Desire strives to make accessible the kinds of locations that will not only be affordable, but also inspiring.  

Initially the focus will be on smaller organizations and companies, primarily under 25 employees.  Organizations may choose to select Heart’s Desire locations for site use only, though additional services can and will be provided including catering, accommodations, and even programming.   Programming can include speakers, artists, wellness experts and a host of professionals promoting topics from growth and learning to organizational and strategic planning. 

With homelessness skyrocketing, and housing supply being well below what is even near necessary to meet the demand, it is vital that creative solutions be crafted.  Whereas typically, laws have allowed for RVs to park on public parking areas along roadways, such as the Pacific Coast Highway, local regulations have dis-allowed this in recent months. 

Heart’s Desire, on our Malibu property, provides extremely low rent/subsidized spaces for individuals who are living out of their vehicles, namely RVs.  

The 12 acre property includes a lower, eastern portion which allows for parking for 3 mid-sized RV’s, which includes electrical hook-ups, filtered well-water, and a small bathroom/shower facility.  Waste will be trucked off-site.  An on-site manager oversees the wellness of tenants 24/7.   

The site has a private entrance, and guests will be charged less than market rates as comparable to State camping fees, or no charge at all pending funding and government subsidies.  

While not in use as retreat accommodation the Malibu and Kauai sites have affordable vacation home available. Each site has at least one two bedroom home with amazing views; Malibu has an additional one-bedroom home.  Rentals are below market rates for the area and can be purchased as a yearly subscription or weekly.
